It's been a while since we did something fun for our members, so we thought "what the hell! Let's do something so completely awesome that minds will be blown and people left in total shock!", and came up with this:

Over the next three weeks we'll be having a torrent drive. This means that we're going to pick several categories each week, and all new torrents uploaded for these categories will be freeleech for the whole week! As well, the user with the most new uploaded torrents during the week will receive VIP status and 250GB of upload credit, the user with the next highest number of new torrents will get 100GB and third place will receive 50GB. To sweeten the pot even more, we (the staff) will be picking one torrent that we feel is the absolute best of the best (the most detailed and comprehensive description, fantastic and organised content and best overall presentation) and the uploader will get 250GB of upload credit.

But wait, there's more! At the end of the event, we'll be holding a site-wide freeleech. If the entire userbase can upload 1000 new torrents (all of which must match the rules and not be classified as dupes) during these three weeks, the freeleech will be an entire week! That's right, you heard correctly, seven whole days of 100% free torrenting! If you do not reach this lofty goal, the freeleech will only be a measly weekend's worth, so get uploading!

Here are the categories we will highlight each week:


Week 1: All console categories: Xbox and Xbox 360, PS2 and PS3, Wii and GameCube. All new uploads for these categories will be freeleech for the week.


Week 2: All handheld console and portable OS categories: GBA, NDS, PSP, iPhone/iPod/iPad and Google Android. All new uploads for these categories will be freeleech for the week.


Week 3: All personal computer categories: Windows, Mac OSX and Linux. All new uploads for these categories will be freeleech for the week.


Week 4: If the entire userbase can upload 1000 new torrents (no dupes and they must be within the rules) there will be site-wide free leech for the week.


Does all of this sound too good to be true? Well, believe it! We're gonna celebrate the end of summer with a huge bang so get out there, get those games out of mothballs and get uploading!
