Microsoft Expression Encoder是微软出品的高级音频/视频编码工具，作为Expression Studio 3设计套件的一部分，Expression Encoder可以生成适合Web或便携式设备等场景的Windows Media视音频文件，是制作高质量WMV-HD影片(WMV3/VC1)的有力工具；当然它更适合生成充分利用Silverlight播放应用场景的丰富图形和交互功能的内容。
