PTP：我们未来的路

As the number of users and torrents continues to increase at PTP, it is important to secure our future both logistically and financially. It has been 6 months since our site was transferred to LeaseWeb's datacenters - a home we had envisioned to be only temporary. Put simply, our current server is not suited to handle the load from the tracker and database. It's time to lift off from the glorified seedbox upon which we sit and settle down to a colocated server housing SSDs, GBs of RAM by the dozen and all the other bells and whistles PTP deserves.

随着PTP的人数和种子数的增加，我们必须从后援力量和经济上来双重保证我们的未来。
我们的网站转战LW已经有6个月了，但也只是暂时的。
因为目前的服务器还无法承受tracker和用户基数的高压。
这应该是我们搬离目前这个盒子般的服务器，移居到拥有SSD，N条G级内存的机子的机房的时候了。

After 3 full months of closed donations, it's time to start raising funds for a permanent solution. If you'd like to help out, head over to /donate.php where you'll be able to donate in one of the following two ways:

• Flattr - A somewhat novelty method of accepting donations but we'd like to plant this with the idea that it may one day become our sole method of raising funds for the site. Please read the wiki for detailed instructions on donating via Flattr.

在暂停接受捐助三个月后，是时候为新机房募集善款了。如果有心，可前往捐赠页，有两种方法捐助我们。

With the addition of a DDoS protected IRC server and a new development server, our monthly costs have risen to $700. Going forward, the donation counter will be reset at the beginning of each month. Any excess funds will be pooled to cover the cost of purchasing the hardware for a colocated server. At present we still have funds remaining from the last drive to secure PTP's immediate future but not enough to cover the logistics involved with colocation (we're a few grand short).

外加一个可防护DDoS的IRC服务器，以及一个新的开发级服务器，我们的月费已经上升到700美元。
此后每月月初捐赠额均会归零，而每月多出来的费用将会用于托管机房的经费。
目前我们还有足够的经费维持PTP的安全，但是还是不足以支付托管机房管理费。

PTP's membership, for the most part, has been quite steady for the past year. However, as the size of our archive continues to rapidly expand, it becomes imperative that more users be let in to help shoulder the weight. We'd like to be ready with the hardware once the time is right to take steps to expand our userbase.

过去一年，PTP的用户基数变化不大。然而随着用户群不断扩大，让更多的用户加入以减轻各种压力成为当务之急。
我们希望在硬件准备好的同时等待时机成熟以扩大我们的用户群。

PTP的捐赠真强大，前两天看到这个通知出来抬头一瞧，又已经100%了，怪不得要停止接受捐赠3个月……
